Training Specialist I

Full-Time Permanent

Rail Operations

SALARY RANGE:  $50,000 - $60,000

Instructs, develops, revises and evaluates new and existing Rail Maintenance training programs conducted for Rail Maintenance personnel, Rail Engineering & Technical Services, Rail Heavy Maintenance and Warehouse Operations personnel or any other requesting department involved with any of the following functional areas:  electrical, general/mechanical, electronics/signal equipment, networking or health/safety.

 

Technical Trainer - Rail

Full-Time Permanent

Rail Maintenance

SALARY RANGE:  $60,000 - $68,400

 

Instructs, develops, revises and evaluates new and existing training programs conducted for Rail Maintenance personnel involved primarily in the following fields: computer network troubleshooting and analysis, IGBT Power electronics troubleshooting and analysis, hydraulics theory and application, and Communications Technology including:  Voice over IP, analog-digital conversion and video.

 

Warehouse Worker I

This position must be posted for bid for at least 14 days and shall be awarded to the senior qualified employee.  If no such employee bids or is qualified CTA may fill with any other person.  The term qualified means the individual possesses the requisite skills, expertise or experience to adequately perform the essentials functions of the position as stated in the job description, including passing all necessary tests.

 

WAGE RATE:  $13.158 - $26.841

Coordinator, Bus Scheduling Design & Development

Full-Time Permanent

Planning

SALARY RANGE:  $65,000 - $75,000

Coordinates staff activities in day-to-day development of bus schedules for bus picks and special supplemental schedules. Ensures the timely distribution of pick and supplemental materials for the field.  Analyzes running time data to recommend revision to bus schedules to optimize efficiency and performance reliability. 

 

Coordinator, Administrative Programs

SALARY RANGE:  $60,000 - $68,000

 

Supervises the preparation of agenda for proposed contract awards, the contract routing process and oversees and conducts public bid openings. Supervises and plays a major role in acceptance of all bids and proposals.  Monitors Record Center activities.  Prepares and maintains payroll, attendance and other related personnel records. Liaison with Freedom of Information Officer.  Monitors advertisements in public newspapers and CTA Website.

 

Coordinator, Inventory Control

SALARY RANGE:  $55,000 - $65,000

Coordinates and supervises personnel and activities at assigned warehouse, stockroom facilities and operations support.

 

Senior Project Manager, Asset Management

SALARY RANGE:  $85,000 - $95,000

This position is the primary point person for asset management within CTA, overseeing strategy development, asset management plan development and maintenance, departmental collaboration, report development and business process management for CTA's Enterprise Asset Management System.  The position requires direct interaction with programmers, analysts, systems administrators, engineers, business units, and CTA leadership.
