COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Scholarships are now available for post-secondary education at an accredited institution of higher education or vocational training in the State of Illinois for the 2014-2015 academic year. (Scholarship award must be used for the 2014 fall semester/quarter).
The CSBG Scholarship Program offers financial aid ranging from $500 to $3,000 for income-eligible residents of the City of Chicago who demonstrate academic achievement, career potential and educational motivation. Displaced and under employed workers, high school graduates (or equivalent), and those aspiring to higher education and employment are invited to apply. Candidates must submit a complete scholarship application with all required documents and provide proof of residency and income eligibility (see chart below). Applications are available on-line at www.cityofchicago.org/fss.
