Minding Your Own Business: Creating a Stronger 28th Ward Economy
Tuesday, October 30th at 9AM
10th District Police Station
3315 W. Ogden Ave.
Sponsored by:
Lawndale Business & Local Development Corporation/SBDC
This meeting will cover tax credits like the federal empowerment zone tax credit with R. Jeffrey & Associates and new market tax credits with SB Friedman, along with, workforce training grants and the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) Grants.
I want your business to have an opportunity to use these tax credits and grants, which are given through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Chicago Department of Housing and Economic Development. Improving our businesses, creating new jobs and a sustainable economy is our first step in turning the 28th Ward into Chicago’s new economic engine.
If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact Ty Cratic in my office at 773-533-0900 or email him at Tycratic@AldermanErvin.com. Light refreshments will be served. - Alderman Jason C. Ervin
